Sad. UVA drops yet another one. What the hell is wrong with them this season? It's not that they have a poor record, but they should be doing better than this IMO.

Re: UVA-Wise looking for big upset on the road

There are several things that are wrong with Wise this year. First the play calling has been horrible in the loses (union in particular). The second thing is that overall our coaching staff is a very big joke. We play a weak schedule so when we get into a tough game we don't know what to do. Overall staff would receive a grade of a C- for the year.

Personally, they had a very successful season. The running game is lacking, and everyone in the country knows they are going to throw 50 times a game. The defense is improved, but is still in need of improvement. They have come a long way, but have a ways to go to contend on a national level in the playoffs.

The playoffs are over for this year. Does anyone see them making a shot at it next year? I dont see them being much better than .500 next year personally.

I don't see them even coming close next year, unfortunately.
